Loge

Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 August 2026 · Applies to the Loge apps and to logetv.com

The short version. To organise your catalogue, Loge sends the connection details your IPTV provider gave you (the address, and the username and password where your provider uses them) to our server, and stores them there. If you buy a licence we also hold your email address. That is the whole list. We sell nothing, share nothing with advertisers, run no analytics and set no cookies on this website. Ask us and we delete everything we hold about you.

1. Who we are

Loge is a media player for IPTV sources you supply yourself. This policy covers the Loge apps for Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac, and the website at logetv.com.

For data protection purposes, Loge is the data controller. You can reach us at privacy@logetv.com about anything on this page, including deletion requests.

2. What we collect, and why

Loge collects very little, and everything it does collect exists to make the app work. Here is the complete list.

WhatWhenWhy
Your IPTV connection details: the playlist address or portal host, and the username and password where your provider uses them When you first connect, and each time the app refreshes your catalogue To fetch and organise your channel, film and series lists so the app can group, sort and search them, and to keep that catalogue current
A one-time setup transfer containing those same details Only if you choose to send your setup from your phone to your television instead of typing it with a remote To move the details across without typing. It is deleted the moment the television reads it, and expires by itself after 15 minutes
Your email address Only if you buy a licence directly from us To hold your licence against something you will still have when you replace a device, and to send you the receipt
A device token: a random string, not tied to your name When a device is unlocked with your licence To let that device confirm it is licensed, and to enforce the five-device household limit
Ordinary server records: IP address, country, the time of the request, and the app version making it Automatically, on requests to our server To keep the service running, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults

We ask for no name, no address, no phone number and no date of birth, and there is no account to create.

About your provider password

We want to be plain about this rather than bury it. Where your provider uses a username and password, those are sent to our server and stored there alongside the address, so that your catalogue can be built and refreshed. They are used for nothing else. They are never sold, never shared, never used to sign in anywhere on your behalf, and never written into our logs. If you would rather we did not hold them, email us and we will delete the record. See section 8.

3. What stays on your device

Most of what Loge knows about you never leaves the device it is on. None of the following is sent to us:

  • Your favourites
  • Where you stopped watching, in films and in every episode
  • Your watch time and viewing history
  • Your settings: subtitle language, audio track, adult-content filter, and the rest
  • The downloaded copy of your catalogue that makes browsing instant

Deleting the app removes all of it. Nothing about what you watch is transmitted anywhere by Loge.

4. What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent your data. Not to anyone, at any price.
  • We do not show adverts in the app, and we do not collect an advertising identifier.
  • We do not run analytics or tracking software in the app or on this website.
  • We do not track what you watch, when, or for how long.
  • We do not build a profile about you or make automated decisions about you.
  • We do not share anything with data brokers, advertisers or social networks.

5. Our legal basis for using it

If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR apply. Our bases are:

  • Performance of a contract: your connection details, your licence email and your device tokens. Without these the app cannot do the thing you installed it to do.
  • Legitimate interests: ordinary server records, used to keep the service available and to prevent abuse. We have weighed this against your interests and keep the data minimal and short-lived.
  • Legal obligation: retaining purchase records for tax and accounting for as long as the law requires.

6. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers, and no one else:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and our server, and stores the database described above.
  • Our payment provider handles checkout as merchant of record and takes your payment details directly. We never see or store your card number. The provider is identified at checkout, before you pay.
  • Google Play and the Apple App Store, if you buy through them. In that case the purchase is between you and that store, under Google's or Apple's privacy policy, and we receive only the fact that a licence is valid.
  • Your IPTV provider sees your requests for streams, because that is who your device is connecting to. That relationship is between you and them, under their privacy policy, not ours.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, such as a valid court order, for example. We will tell you if that happens unless we are forbidden from doing so.

7. How long we keep it

WhatKept for
IPTV connection detailsUntil you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after the last time that source connected, whichever is sooner
Setup transferUntil the television reads it, or 15 minutes, whichever comes first
Licence email and purchase recordFor the life of the licence, then as long as tax law requires us to keep the record
Device tokensUntil the device is replaced or the licence ends
Server recordsUp to 30 days

8. Your rights, and how to use them

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it. This is the one most people want, and it is one email
  • Export it in a machine-readable file
  • Restrict or object to how we use it
  • Withdraw consent, where we relied on it

Email privacy@logetv.com. Tell us the playlist address or portal host you used, or the email address you bought with, so we can find the right record. We reply within 30 days and we do not charge for it.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU it is the supervisory authority where you live.

If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA and CPRA, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights. The rights above cover the CCPA rights to know, delete, correct and opt out.

9. Security

Everything travels over HTTPS. Access to the database is limited to the people who operate the service. On your device, your provider details are held in the operating system's own secure storage.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant regulator without undue delay, as the law requires.

10. Cookies and this website

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no third-party script. The typeface is served from our own server rather than a font network, so loading this page tells nobody anything about you. That is also why you were not asked to accept anything.

Our server keeps ordinary access records for up to 30 days, as described above.

11. Children

Loge is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, email us and we will remove it.

Separately: Loge hides adult categories from browsing, search and the home screen by default. What a source carries is determined by the provider you connected, not by us.

12. Where your data is processed

Our server runs on Cloudflare's global network, so a request is handled at the location nearest you, and the database is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure. This can mean data is processed outside your own country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, in our contract with Cloudflare.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, meaning new data collected or a new reason for collecting it, we will say so in the app before it takes effect, not quietly.
